Romero Britto, the Brazilian-born Miami Beach-based neo-pop cubist, created the official logo for The U.S. Conference on AIDS to be held in Miami Beach, Florida on September 18-21.Britto's exuberant painting style-often dubbed "the art of healing" provides the perfect optimistic and inspirational imagery for the logo.
Says Britto; "I feel that it is very important to help with this cause. HIV/AIDS is a terrible disease that affects so many young people and so many have died. Unfortunately this is because of ignorance, so when I was asked to create a logo to commemorate the 2008 USCA in Miami Beach, I was immediately moved to do something to help raise awareness."
The Britto Foundation was established in 2007 as a vehicle through which the artist hopes to fulfill his aspirations of spreading joy and happiness to children around the world.

Optimistic and inspirational, Britto shares his talent. It is important for us all to be willing to help with the very important cause, to raise awareness regarding HIV/AIDS. Help stop the ignorance.
Everyone is in love with Britto's work. I bet the 3D pieces are hard to keep in stock.
Britto believes art should be enjoyed by people of all ages. His art appeals to everyone, those who are truly young and also those who are young at heart.
Thank you Britto for helping the cause. We need to continue to bring consciousness to plight of HIV/AIDS. Let’s stop the ignorance and raise the awareness.
I don't quite understand the fascination with Britto. But then I never appreciated Warhol either. I do commend the artists who give back. So even though I don't understand his art I do understand and commend the Britto Foundation.
