The First Annual Peace and Love Day is being held on the Marygrove College campus Saturday, March 13, 2010 from 1- 5 p.m. This free event, which is open to the public, is dedicated to taking a stand against violence and will provide community resources and entertainment.
Peace and Love Day is co-sponsored by the Park West Foundation, founded in 2006 by Park West Gallery CEO Albert Scaglione and his wife Mitsie Scaglione. It is being held in honor of the late Weusi Olusola, national youth and peace activist, whose mission of "pioneering for the preservation of our youth" is still very much alive.
