New Picasso Exhibit at Museo Picasso Malaga

Pablo Picasso, Boy Leading a Horse (1906)
While Picasso is best known for his images of women, musicians and war, another subject is seen over and over again throughout Picasso’s career – horses. In fact, the very first painting by Pablo Picasso that was ever conserved was painted in Malaga when he was just eight years old, and there is a horse in it.

A new exhibit at the Museo Picasso Málaga explores this subject for which the artist was passionate. Picasso. Horses is currently on view through September 5, 2010.
