The latest exhibit at the Walker Art Gallery in Liverpool, England features around 50 fine quality art prints by artist Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec. High Kicks and Low Life: Toulouse-Lautrec Prints depicts the glamour and style of 19th century Parisian theatre and daily life, which Toulouse-Lautrec so aptly captures in his graphic works. In contrast to the lively exuberant scenes of the cafés and bars of Montmartre, Lautrec portrays with great sensitivity the extremely private and intimate life of the prostitute in the second section of the exhibition.
