Park West Gallery CARES Presents 'Destino' to Art Students

Just before the start of summer vacation, Livonia's Clarenceville High School art students were treated to a special guest lecture by Park West Gallery Director Morris Shapiro. The art lesson focused on the unprecedented surrealist masterpiece, Destino, a most unique collaboration between American animator Walt Disney and Spanish artist Salvador Dali.

Detroit's Thirkell Elementary Students Visit Park West Gallery

 

Park West Gallery recently welcomed the fifth grade class from Thirkell Elementary in Detroit and volunteers from Beyond Basics for a day filled with fine art, fun and surprises. Michigan-based Park West artist Tim Yanke graciously volunteered to spend the day at the gallery, painting with students and inspiring them with his unique artwork.
